About Lessons, Enrique Toral is equally at home teaching classical and musical theater singers. Though the styles of each are very different, even within their respective genres, the tenets of healthy singing are all the same.
Enrique provides a practical vocal method based on the functional unity of respiration, phonation and resonance to improve the tone quality, vocal range, intonation and flexibility of the voice. His students develop a conceptual framework that promotes vocal proficiency and synergistically integrates mind and body, technique and artistry, enabling his students to access their own "Master Singer." Ultimately, my students become the vessel of expression through song, always singing the truth of the lyrics and freely immersing themselves in the character they portray. |
Testimonials"I've had the privilege of working with Enrique over the years. From my first lessons I was able to access more of my true tone color with more ease of production. Enrique has redefined the basic technical tools for me by making the process of singing simple. His clarity, humor and openness while teaching helped me embrace and address my technical struggles. I also noticed the progress he made with other students and was amazed at the consistency of results he drew out of them. Since then, my work with Enrique has allowed me to reach the next level of comfort in my singing allowing me to be expressive. I feel very honored to have met Enrique and to call him my teacher and mentor."
